Und wir warten immer noch Ja, Baby lässt sich wirklich Zeit, ist bestimmt ein ganz “relaxter” Charakter. Heute hat sich die Hebamme spontan angekündigt für einen Hausbesuch. Bestimmt will sie wissen was los ist – ich habe sie das letzte Mal vor 2 Wochen gesehen und dann habe ich eine andere gesehen, weil meine Hebamme auf Reisen war. Mal gucken, das Baby dreht sich jedenfalls immer hin und her, ich muss wenigstens 5x nachts auf Klo – kann es kaum erwarten, einmal wieder auf dem Rücken zu schlafen. Die Spannung steigt jedenfalls Wir haben ein kleines Mobile für das Baby gebastelt, es war richtige Teamarbeit, jeder hat ein kleines “Gehänge” gemacht (ich stelle auch noch ein paar Fotos rein). Und sonst gibt es nicht so viel zu berichten, ich fühle mich manchmal etwas wie zwischen Rinde und Borke, man kann irgendwie gar nichts richtig anfangen, weil es immer jede Zeit losgehen kann… Ach ja, jeder hat aufgegeben zu raten, wann das Baby wohl kommen wird – aber das Raten um das Geschlecht geht eifrig weiter

Heute ist der offizielle “Geburtstermin”. Allerdings habe ich mich heute etwas weiter im Netz informiert und wenn der Periodezyklus mehr als 28 Tage ist, dann verschiebt sich auch der Geburtstermin, was bei mir gar nicht in Einbetracht gezogen wurde. Also laut Rechnung im Netz wäre es eher der 15. November und außerdem werden nur 4% aller Babies an dem eigentlichen Termin geboren. Also… Die Spannung steigt auf jeden Fall. Meine Hebamme Belinda ist nur noch morgen da, dann verreist sie für 4 Tage – wenn also das Baby dann kommt, dann wird eine andere an ihrer Stelle kommen, diese werde ich am Freitag morgen treffen. Am Anfang war ich ja nicht so begeistert, aber mittlerweile denke ich mir, dass wenn es so sein soll dann wird es auch einen Grund haben

Hallo alle zusammen,

ich weiß, es ist wieder eine Weile her, seitdem ich geschrieben habe. Das lag daran, dass meine Mutter nach Neuseeland kam und dann gab es noch so viele Dinge, die hier und da die vorbereitet werden mussten. Jetzt bin ich eigentlich “bereit”, sofern man das überhaupt sein kann. Jedenfalls ist praktisch alles vorbereitet, der Geburtspool wurde schon aufgepumpt, die Geburtskiste mit dem Inhalt für die Hausgeburt ist bereit und alle Babysachen & Windeln sind gewaschen Der offizielle Termin ist der 12.11.08 – heute ist der 5. Das Baby macht es auf jeden Fall spannend. Ansonsten geht es mir gut, ich bin nur öfters wieder so müde wie am Anfang der Schwangerschaft und ich frage mich, wie ich bitteschön die Geburt durchstehen soll, wenn ich jetzt schon so schlapp bin. Ich war heute in einem Esoterik-Laden und habe mir mir Tarot Karten legen lassen. Sie sagten, dass ich viel Unterstützung (nicht nur auf der weltlichen Ebene) habe und dass ich mich frage, ob ich die Stärke für die Geburt habe – was positiv beantwortet wurde. Ich habe bis jetzt auch noch kein Gefühl, ob es ein Mädchen oder Junge wird, mittlerweile tippen hier alle bis auf Sharina (Aneels Schwester) auf Junge, wir werden sehen

So viel erst einmal von mir. Ich werde noch ein paar Fotos auf den Blog stellen – der Bauch ist nämlich meiner Meinung nach riesig geworden!

The clock is ticking… only one more week and the baby will be a full term baby That is a really good feeling! I haven’t packed for the hospital nor got the box for the homebirth ready yet… One just never knows when it wants to come so I think I better get those things ready asap. We went to the midwife last Tuesday and we found out that the baby has turned from his/her “ideal” position. So now I have been busy with all those different exercises to get it inspired to move back (and I have also talked with him/her) – I think it has turned but it is so hard to know. Also the midwife told me that I am 2 weeks behind with the growth. But I am actually a bit sceptic about that because I have a very long torso – so it can just streach out more! Also I have been getting all those healthy things to support my immune system. Spirulina, Inner Health Plus, Iron (yes, I am unfortunately low on iron). Sleeping has been getting a bit harder, I have some pain in my hips now. I read that the body is getting ready for the birth and hips and muscles are expanding and stretching out – I can surely feel that. Otherwise I and I hope the baby too are fine

33 Weeks pregnant…

Coming closer and closer to the end. It was quite a trip back from Germany to New Zealand and it took me some time to adjust to the weather and time change. It also took Aneel some time to adjust to the “new Sita” with a tummy But now he is used to it When we went to the midwife, quite some things came up. First of all I had a UTI (Urinary tract infection) and she wanted me to take Antibiotics – which I didn’t end up taking as I don’t like the idea of the baby taking it as well. And then she thought that the baby was to small – so I had to go for another scan. I myself felth that the baby was perfectly fine, which the scan then also confirmed. Besides that everything has been going well, I have almost no aches and pains, which doesn’t seem to be the avarage, looking at other pregnancies at 33 weeks… And of course busy getting little things here and there for the baby That is a lot of fun!

Boy or Girl?

Of course many have been asking, is it going to be a boy or a girl? Aneel and I decided to be surprised, why the rush? Also we don’t really want the classic gender role thing, the boy all in blue and the girl all in pink. So now we have got a whole lot of different colours. Of course everyone has been speculating, in New Zealand almost everyone thinks it is a boy and in Germany about 90 percent think it is a girl. Aneel and I have been having mixed feelings. I was recently thinking it is a boy but then I used the pendulum yesterday just for fun and it turns out to be a girl! Either way we will be happy

27 weeks and 3 days pregnant

Many things have happened since I last time posted on this blog… I am in Germany at the moment. Baby & tummy have been growing, I just measured it – 86 cm! I am about 60 kg now, have gained 6 kg so far. I have been feeling the first movements of the baby since I was 18 weeks pregnant. It is an amazing feeling! Besides that pregnancy has been going really well since then, no major things, only the blood pressure is a bit low at times and I can’t stand for long. But otherwise I feel great

I think it has been about a week since I last wrote on here. I have been feeling very noucious lately and because of that I could hardly eat anything and am now feeling really weak… Aneel is taking good care of me though. I hope that this period will only be short…
